Artist Statement:

My organic and figurative sculptural forms explore and search for a certain “emotional rightness” between material, shape and color within each piece, in addition to the themes of gesture and content. Through this search, a visual, wordless language develops which transcends our traditional expressive vocabulary. This language speaks to me and to the viewer through the perceived and acknowledged recognition of “an intuitive feeling” emanating from within the composition, which renders it recognizable in an emotional way. I search for the strength, unity, cohesiveness and rightness of the work through this emotional language and connection.

When a dialogue of shared feelings is established between the viewer and the sculpture, the previously unknown and unrecognizable form becomes perceivable, believable and real.
